My Story
Jeremy started hustling early—selling popsicles at three, launching his first company at 18, and learning the hard way after losing $20 million and going bankrupt twice before 22.
Those setbacks, along with years as a firefighter and paramedic, forged his resilience and drive. In 2012, he built Murphy Door from a single hidden-door idea into a national brand installing space-saving solutions in homes, businesses, and government buildings nationwide.
Challenges & Resilience
Jeremy’s journey hasn’t been smooth. Before building Murphy Door into a national brand, he lost $20 million before age 22, went bankrupt twice and even slept in his truck. Working as a firefighter earning $800 paychecks, he built doors in the firehouse on nights and weekends. These hardships taught him humility and grit, shaping the resourceful, hands‑on operator he is today.
